How to work faster and more efficient?

Or how to find your special images within the huge database (+34.000) of Frank Hoppen.com?

Very easy, just follow these steps:

You might want to open a second window in your browser

and sign into the search engine.

That way you can read along and do your own real time browsing.

As an example we will do a search for Grant Langston in 2003 and show the screens you will see:

Go to www.Hoppenworld.com or www.FrankHoppen.com.

Click on the search engine button:

Sign in with your user name and pass word.

If you haven’t signed up yet, you will need to. It is free for industry. You have to choose your own user name and pass word, that way you won’t forget them.

Within a short time you’ll get an approval mail and you can sign in:

Here we tell the engine what to show.

With Ctrl (Cmd) we can highlight multiple requests.

(This is true for the other pages as well).

We want to see his SX and MX images. So, we highlight them and click on NEXT:

Here we tell the engine what we are looking for.

Either a theme as in Starts, Podium and so on or as in a rider name:

We’ll click on <Search by rider> and click on NEXT:

Here we see riders selected by our first selection.

If we would have chosen Road Racing or Freestyle, different names would show up.

Here, we can highlight (CTRL/CMD) multiple choices as well.

Now we can tell the engine what year to do the search:

h.

And it comes up with all the events we have images from him available.

Choose <ALL> or just the ones you would like to see:

For this example we want to see High Point, Mt. Morris and Phoenix SX.

As always, do your choice and click on <NEXT> or in this case <Perform Search>.

On the result page we see 25 images as the default setting.

You can change those while clicking on the drop down menu in the left upper part.

One really cool thing is the new ‘personal light table:

Just do a quick browsing through the images and click on the little box ‘ad to my lighttable’.

Those images will be grayed out and put onto your personal light table.

If you click on ‘View my personal light table’ in the upper part, you’ll get to this page,

from where you can do your final edit and order with one click the final image

or go back and start over again.

Easy as a walk in the park, only here you sit at your desk,

but have access to everything you need.
